Kaplan building
Building desription
Kaplan building was the first building in the 22 000 m2 Zone 1A. It was completed in 1995 and its architectual design was awarded first prize in the prestigious BEST OF REALTY competition in category "Office projects".
The building benefits from the following features:
Office areas
- fully accessible raised flooring system with integrated floor boxes
- modular suspended ceilings incorporating recessed fluorescent luminaires
- gas-fired central heating via thermostatically controlled perimeter panel radiators
- double-glazed windows openable at high and low level
- sunshading to reduce the impact of direct solar radiation
- displacement ventilation with fresh air rising through grilles from the floor void
