Phase II
The Park’s second phase Central Zone is currently in the stage of commencing tender and detailed design process and can incooperate specific client requirements into the final design specification. The building permit was issued in autumn of year 2011. Is expected that the development of the first facilities will start from summer of year 2012. A total of 42,000 m2 is planned in a series of individual office buildings in a campus arrangement surrounding a central water feature, lake and landscaped park.
Situated right at the centre of the project this phase will provide core supporting facilities with retail and services functions as part of the Park’s central reception and management building. These will include further restaurant and catering facilities, convenience supermarket, medical clinic, bank, post office, pharmacy, newsagents, crèche and conference centre. The buildings should be designed to meet the latest standards in sustainability with energy saving and water management systems incorporated. The premises will provide the optimum solution for organizations wishing to place research and development projects at the site to benefit from the locations advantages.
Beyond Phase II there are two important projects being developed by the Brno University of Technology (BUT). Central European Research Institute CEITEC and Civil Engineering Advanced Materials Faculty ADMAS both of which commenced the construction early in year 2011. Both CEITEC and ADMAS will provide research laboratories and run international programmes focusing on Material Science and Advanced Nano and Microtechnologies as well as Advanced Communication and Controlling Technololgy.
