Vodafone

The Czech Republic newest mobile phone operator has it’s second switch site for the Czech Republic within List Building on the Technology Park. The company also has regional office space within the building.

Silicon Graphics

This world re-known company with it’s headquarters in Silicon Valley provides fully integrated development and production of  efficient computer servers and graphics stations. The company has its regional headquarters located within Kaplan Building.

FEI Czech Republic

The FEI company is a leading world producer of a wide range of scientific devices. It is a peak supplier of electron and ion-optical microscopes and tools for applicactions working in nano-dimensions, utilized in the industrial as well as scientific research of materials, biotechnologies, semiconductor research, data maintenance industry, natural resources research and many other industries.  During its sixty-year history of technological innovations and the leading position in the industry the FEI company established standards in the industry of transmission electron microscopes (TEM), scanning electron microscopes (SEM) and DualBeam™ products that combine SEM technologies with focused ion bundle (FIB). The image-forming FEI systems enable a 3D pictorial representation, analysis, modification and prototyping in differentiations less than the value of one angströmu (one tenth of nanometer). The company operates a number of technology-research centers NanoPorts in North America, Europe and Asia where experts from the whole world cooperate together. In 2009 the company’s turnover reached the value of USD 577 million. The company employs pproximately 1,780 employees and has business and service branches in more than 50 countries all over the world.

Control Techniques

Control Techniques plc is a world leader in the design, production and marketing of electronic drives for electric motors. These products reduce energy consumption and increase productivity and have applications in almost every industrial process. The company has a drive centre occupying 850m2 within Zone B of the Technology Park. The facility provides tailored solutions to clients and employs 13 people, including specialist variable speed drive experts who also lecture at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at the Technical University within the sphere of electrical drives.

Koyo Bearings

The Czech Technical Centre is a part of Timken group. CTC has been established in Brno, Czech Republic, to strengthen Timken´s high technical level and to continue innovation of the company´s products and processes.

CTC is being developed as a resource for Bearing Sciences (Tribology, Analytical/Materials Engineering) and IT Engineering providing engineering support for new and existing businesses in both the automotive and industrial divisions worldwide.

IBM Global Services Delivery Center Czech Republic

The IBM expert centre in Brno is a integral part of IBM´s outsourcing organization which is providing complex services to hundreds of clients in the whole of Europe. The extent of the services provided includes support and running of business applications over computer networks up to data centres. This centre is in the primary phase focused on the support of database and system software.

Bobst Group Central Europe

The Bobst Group is the world´s foremnost supplier of products and services in the field of solid board, corrugated board and flexible materials packaging industries. These products range from the simplest machine to complete high-tech manufacturing systems. With its headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Bobst Group of companies has developed a sales and service network with offices in more than 100 countries.
The subsidiary Bobst Group Central Europe, recently located in Kaplan building of the Technology Park, was set up in 1993 in order to respond more efficiently to the customers´ needs on the territory.

Star 21 Networks

STAR 21 Networks, a.s. operates its own wireless telecommunication network with guaranteed quality of services in the Czech Republic. The network is used mainly by other operators and Internet service providers (ISP's) to provide voice, data and Internet services to businesses and institutions. The list of STAR 21 Networks' current customers includes all major fixed line operators in the Czech market.

MOTOROLA

Products of the Enterprise Mobility Solutions division do not need to be introduced in great detail because most of you are probably in touch with them every day. The wide range of bar code readers, pocket computers and RFID solutions rank among the top products in this field. In most countries Motorola has their business partners who are in direct contact with customers. They use Motorola´s customer support as well as the service centre in Brno. Y-Soft Corporation

The scope of business of the Y Soft company consists in the research, development, production and sale of the YSoft SafeQ solutions that help companies lower their printing costs and improve printing comfort. The SafeQ product has by now become a synonym for cost savings and printing and copy protection in several countries of the world. Václav Muchna, co-owner of the Y Soft company, won the Czech Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2006. This award is a part of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The Y Soft company participated in the incubation programme of the South Moravian Innovation Centre.

MANN+HUMMEL

The MANN+HUMMEL concern has two branches in the Czech Republic: in Nová Ves (Třebíč County) and in Brno. The facility in Nová Ves manufactures liquid filters for automotive industry, air filters for automotive and engineering industries, and filter cartridges for the independent market for spare parts under its own brand name. The Brno branch is home to the MANN+HUMMEL company's design and development offices. The company's own brand of filters, MANN-FILTER, is the strongest foreign filter brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The MANN+HUMMEL facility in Nová Ves manufactures approximately 18 million filters a year and it is in charge of the sale of MANN-FILTER products on regional markets. MANN+HUMMEL employs approximately 800 people in the Czech Republic.
